This Privacy Policy explains how Learn Guidance and Control LLC, doing business as TrueCourse ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Alpha-stage spending guidance application.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
To operate the application and provide spending guidance, we collect:

Account Information: Your name, email address, authentication identifiers, sign-in provider information, user ID, and legal acceptance records. We do not collect or store user passwords.

User-Entered Financial Information: Your stated financial goals, budgets, specific spending records or transaction entries, and workspace membership or invite information.

Technical & App Data: Device identifiers, app activity, app-generated guidance, state values, spend zones, scheduler records, diagnostic or crash logs, performance data, and support communications.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the collected data to operate TrueCourse, provide spending guidance, maintain your account, support shared workspaces, and communicate with you. We may also use information, including support communications, to respond to requests, troubleshoot bugs, investigate errors, validate calculations, monitor system behavior, improve reliability, perform data repair, maintain backups, enforce access controls, protect security, comply with legal obligations, and communicate with users regarding the Alpha program.

3. ALPHA TESTING: MANUAL REVIEW & CONFIDENTIALITY LIMITS
During Alpha testing, the developer may manually review user-entered spending records, financial goals, settings, workspace data, application-generated guidance, logs, backups, and outputs for debugging, support, validation, safety monitoring, data repair, and product improvement. User-entered financial information should not be considered private from the TrueCourse developer during Alpha testing.

We treat user data as confidential and use reasonable efforts to limit access to persons and service providers who need access to operate, support, secure, troubleshoot, or improve TrueCourse, or to comply with legal obligations.

4. AGGREGATED AND DE-IDENTIFIED DATA
TrueCourse may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information to evaluate product performance, improve algorithms, understand usage patterns, validate application behavior, and develop new features. TrueCourse will not intentionally use aggregated or de-identified information to publicly identify an individual user.

5. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We do not sell user personal information or user-entered financial information. We do not share user data for third-party advertising. We share information only:

With infrastructure providers necessary to authenticate users, store data, and operate the application.

To comply with valid legal obligations.

To enforce our Terms of Service or protect the security of TrueCourse.

With your direction or consent, such as when you participate in a shared workspace.

6. DATA STORAGE, SECURITY, AND BACKUPS
TrueCourse utilizes third-party cloud infrastructure to store application data. TrueCourse uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to protect user information. However, no electronic storage system, network, cloud service, or software application can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. DATA RETENTION
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate TrueCourse, support Alpha testing, maintain records, troubleshoot issues, validate behavior, comply with legal or operational obligations, resolve disputes, enforce Terms, and improve the product. Residual copies of your data may remain for a limited period in backups, logs, archives, or diagnostic records until they are deleted or overwritten according to standard retention, security, and backup processes.

8. YOUR CHOICES, DATA RIGHTS, AND ACCOUNT DELETION
You may stop using TrueCourse at any time. You may request deletion of your account and associated financial records by contacting support at support@truecourseguidance.com from the email address associated with your account.

We will make reasonable efforts to delete or de-identify data from active systems, subject to legal obligations, security needs, dispute resolution, operational requirements, backup retention, and technical limitations. If you participate in a shared workspace, some workspace records may remain available to other workspace members or retained as necessary to preserve workspace integrity, legal records, security, or operational continuity.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
TrueCourse is strictly not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions may be made available in the application, on our website, by email, or by another reasonable method. Continued use of the application after updates are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
