TRUECOURSE TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective Date: June 19, 2026

Version: 2026-06-alpha-terms-v8

1. ACCEPTANCE AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Learn Guidance and Control LLC, doing business as TrueCourse ("TrueCourse," "we," "us," or "our"). BY ACCESSING OR USING TRUECOURSE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. Your use of TrueCourse is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented in the application, constitute the entire agreement between you and TrueCourse regarding your use of the application. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use TrueCourse.

2. ALPHA TESTING STATUS & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
TrueCourse is an Alpha-stage software application provided strictly for limited evaluation, testing, and feedback. It remains developmental software. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with using Alpha-stage software. TrueCourse may contain bugs, incorrect calculations, delayed updates, data issues, unavailable features, or other errors.

3. INFORMATIONAL GUIDANCE; NO FINANCIAL ADVICE
TrueCourse provides informational spending guidance based on user-entered goals, user-entered spending records, application settings, and automated modeling. TrueCourse outputs, including Daily Guidance, Daily Course values, spend zones, status messages, notifications, calculations, projections, and related displays, are informational references only.

TrueCourse does not provide licensed financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, debt-management, or certified financial planning advice. TrueCourse does not act as a fiduciary, financial adviser, broker, accountant, debt counselor, or investment adviser. You remain solely responsible for your financial decisions, spending decisions, budgeting choices, and real-world actions. You should consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

4. USER INPUTS AND AUTOMATED GUIDANCE
TrueCourse outputs are automatically generated based on user-entered goals, user-entered spending records, application settings, and automated processing. TrueCourse does not independently verify your income, expenses, obligations, account balances, transactions, household circumstances, or financial condition. If your inputs are incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, duplicated, or omitted, TrueCourse outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or unsuitable. It is your sole responsibility to verify your financial limits before making real-world spending decisions.

5. NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOMES
TrueCourse does not guarantee that you will save money, reduce spending, avoid overspending, meet financial goals, improve financial behavior, avoid debt, avoid financial loss, or achieve any particular financial result. Your financial outcomes depend on a wide variety of personal and economic factors entirely outside the control of TrueCourse.

6. EXPERIMENTAL SOFTWARE AND AUTOMATED MODELING
TrueCourse is experimental Alpha-stage software that uses automated modeling and guidance methods to support spending awareness and budget tracking. The application is developmental and may produce incorrect, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable outputs. TrueCourse does not warrant that its models, calculations, or guidance are optimal, accurate, or appropriate for any specific person, household, business, institution, or financial situation.

7. ACCOUNT SECURITY
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify TrueCourse promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND REVERSE ENGINEERING
All rights, title, and interest in and to TrueCourse, including the software, source code, user interface, algorithms, documentation, designs, workflows, data structures, trade secrets, know-how, non-public product details, and non-public system architecture, are the exclusive property of Learn Guidance and Control LLC.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reproduce, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code, algorithms, non-public logic, or proprietary methods of TrueCourse, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

9. FEEDBACK
If you provide comments, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant TrueCourse a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use and incorporate that feedback without restriction. Feedback does not create any confidentiality, compensation, ownership, or attribution obligation.

10. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Your use of TrueCourse may also depend on third-party platforms, app stores, cloud infrastructure providers, authentication providers, and other service providers, such as Google Play, Apple App Store, Firebase, or related services. Your use is subject to their applicable rules and policies. TrueCourse is not responsible for third-party outages, service interruptions, security incidents, policy changes, or platform limitations.

11. NO WARRANTY
TRUECOURSE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUECOURSE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUECOURSE, LEARN GUIDANCE AND CONTROL LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, SAVINGS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, DATA, OR FINANCIAL OUTCOME. IN NO EVENT SHALL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($150.00) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ACCESS THE APPLICATION IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS.

13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TrueCourse and related parties, as defined in Section 12, from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, or debt arising from: your use of TrueCourse; your user-entered data; your financial decisions; your misuse of the application; your violation of these Terms or applicable law; your violation of any third-party right; unauthorized account use caused by you; or disputes between you and other workspace members.

14. GOVERNING LAW AND INFORMAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to TrueCourse shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before filing a formal legal claim, you agree to first contact TrueCourse at support@truecourseguidance.com with your name, account email, a description of the dispute, and the relief requested. You and TrueCourse agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days after the notice is received.

15. INDIVIDUAL CLAIMS AND SMALL CLAIMS
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you and TrueCourse agree that disputes will be handled only on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, representative, collective, or mass action.

Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies. Any court proceeding shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. JURY TRIAL AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND TRUECOURSE WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL IN ANY DISPUTE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF TRUECOURSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND TRUECOURSE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, REPRESENTATIVE, COLLECTIVE, OR MASS PROCEEDING.

17. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION
TrueCourse may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, including during Alpha testing, for any reason or no reason, including suspected misuse, security risk, violation of these Terms, operational needs, or discontinuation of the Alpha program. You may stop using TrueCourse at any time.

18. SURVIVAL
Provisions concerning Intellectual Property, Feedback, No Warranty, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Informal Dispute Resolution, Individual Claims, Jury Trial and Class Action Waiver, and Privacy shall survive any termination of these Terms or your use of the application.

19. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

20. CHANGES TO TERMS
TrueCourse may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms may be made available within the application, by email, on our website, or by another reasonable method. Your continued use of TrueCourse after updated Terms are made available constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using TrueCourse.
